A really outstanding game. There's more customization features and more game modes.

This is a great game, it just takes a little while to get used to the gamebreaker moves, where as in 1 you only have the gamebreaker power that does it all! Cool Game!

Fun game. The special moves and the gamebreakers add to a great arcade version of football. The 7 on 7 gives you much better control.

  1. While you'll now find more variety in supermoves, some are still wickedly unbalanced (especially the interception Gamebreaker). [Dec. 2006, p.140]

The inclusion of new game types helps players who've outgrown the older street events, and removing Gamebreakers from the cutscene format is a definite improvement for in-game strategy.
  3. Despite such changes and an energetic attempt to put more intensity into the game, it reeks of familiarity. The graphics haven't improved over the last two NFL Streets, and the attitude through celebrations and taunts fails to impress.
