MOONZMar 5, 20098Though I agree with the critics that it lacked new developments and that the new controls are misleading (especially the dribbles and skill moves), I still believe its far better than all other. free play movement is all what matters! Konami, we expect to top the chart next year so don't disappoint!

ChristianSalibaNov 11, 200810Well I have been a PRO fan since the PS1. Before that i use to play Fifa but never did (for long periods) after the 1st tme I played PRO. I seems to have improved which i thought was impossible after PRO2008 and It's gameplay never fails. Liverpool FC have been made "real" which is also gr8 news!!

85PES 2009 on the PS2 continues to be the benchmark in soccer games. Its gameplay and multiplayer fun are unrivaled. It still inherits the classical flaws from the series and it doesn't include the Champions League licenses its next-gen brother has, but it is the best option to recreate a soccer game nevertheless. It is obvious that the machine can no longer provide further improvements.

80When it comes to playing soccer with your friends at home, few games can rival this version of PES. The tempo is higher and the player movement is a tad bit more realistic that it's new gen console counterparts. But with few additions and a lot of licenses lost it's hard to recommend this to anyone. Shame on Konami for basically letting us pay for the same content as last year.

75Apart from the Become a Legend mode, the new edition has nothing much to justify the acquisition for owners of previous versions.
