The robbery goes wrong when the alarm is tripped and the cops show up. In the ensuing confusion, four of the robbers make it back to their warehouse rendezvous but it is quickly apparent that one of them is an undercover police officer – but which one? Staying true to the original plot, this intense, third person shooter follows the progress and planning of the famed diamond heist while filling in some of the cliffhanger questions from the film: What happened to Mr. Blue and Mr. Brown? Where did Mr. Pink hide the diamonds? What actually happened at the heist? These questions and more will be answered as the game unfolds and according to the player's tactics. Players get to fill the shoes of each iconic character in the film as they relive the Reservoir Dogs experience complete with the movie’s trademark style and wit. The game will also feature the full and original soundtrack from the movie – the super sounds of the seventies brought alive with the thematic "Little Green Bag", "Stuck in the Middle with You" and more. 1. Reservoir Dogs manages to capture the look and feel of the movie even without most of the original actors. The episodic structure works well and the idea of not having to shoot anybody in the action parts is great. A short but fun experience especially for fans of the movie. [Sept 2006]
  2. Looks fantastic, sounds fantastic and plays...well, not quite so fantastically, but it's still fun. [Nov 2006, p.70]
  3. The tie-in with the movie makes this average game good but let’s not forget that at the core this is just an average game. If anything it makes me want to see the movie again.
  4. A bad idea executed only slightly better. [Oct 2006, p.97]
  5. Neither a good action game on its own merits, nor quality fan service, Reservoir Dogs is an out and out failure.
  6. All dogs go to heaven? Not hardly. This one rots somewhere else. [Dec. 2006, p.86]
  7. If I was handed this game and a rusty meat cleaver and told that I would have to cut off some part of my body with the cleaver or play the game again, I’d be wondering just when I’d had my last tetanus shot.
