Robot Alchemic Drive Image
  • Summary: Prepare to bond with 75 tons of high-tensile robot. Direct every movement of your machine and slug your way to victory over colossal opponents in brutal hand-to-hand combat (plus missiles, lasers, shooting fists, boomerangs, and much more). Freeway overpass in the way? Take it down. Buildings crowding you? Knock 'em over. Much more than a simple action game, Robot Alchemic Drive accurately simulates the operation of a remote-controlled metal titan in crowded, active urban environments. Use your giant robot as a tool to defeat enemies, complete missions, and much more. [Enix] Expand

The anime-mech lover’s dream come true.
  2. RAD is a really tantalizing title. The game features one of the freshest and most interesting control schemes in the history of console robot-bashing, leading to one of the most unique mech experiences out there.

It has more than a few flaws, but the central concept works as both a challenging gameplay concept and an exciting bit of cinematic presentation.

  3. I have to give this game a lower score because the action is slow and the camera angles and controls aren't that great. The level progression is boring. What is great is that it feels like your in a real town. I controlled my character and stood in front of a train thinking they wouldn't have bothered programming a reaction....I flew up into the rafters and it was hilarious. This game has hidden detail. The concept of this game is great, but after awhile it will get boring. Get this if its cheap. Expand
