  1. It does make you think what kind of flower power evil dictator would create such laughably psychedelic set of robots.
  2. Invasion’s innocent looks and gameplay do have some cohesion and its very simplicity is its one saving grace. It’s bubblegum for your mind and never offensive. If it had appeared five years ago at the same price it would come recommended for the younger gamer. [Feb 2005, p.108]

But the lack of definable strengths and weak multiplayer options make it really easy for the average gamer to leave it on the store shelf.
  4. Heck, I could have watched 12 hours of The Weather Channel and had more fun and seen better graphics. The real downer is that the only segment of the war left for a third game is Dana Sterling’s story, known the world over to be the most melodramatic and least exciting chunk of the Robotech mythos.
  5. 30
With horrible graphics that look like something an owl regurgitated, broken controls that must be wrestled with at every turn, and level designs that could turn the undead, Robotech: Invasion is an utter waste of money.
  6. In all honesty, Robotech: Invasion is not even worth sitting at a computer and writing a review for.
