  1. The game's humor and good gameplay definitely saved this game from its obvious flaws of controls and glitches. Some gamers will like the game, and it will annoy some. But if you are a Ratchet and Clank fan, don't pass it up.
  2. There are some really fun nuggets to be found in Secret Agent Clank, but for every one thing the game does right, it does two or three other things terribly wrong.
  3. Disappointingly Secret Agent Clank falls short of its rich and storied past. The game is a direct port of the PSP game with very little if anything added.
  4. 60
On PSP, Secret Agent Clank wasn't much to get excited about, and the PS2 version isn't much different. The gameplay is the same mix of fun Ratchet and Clank dialogue mixed with mundane mini-games, Qwark's missions still break the pacing of the game and you won't feel like a spy by the end of the title.
  5. Fans of Ratchet and Clank who do not own a PSP will be the only ones who will definitely want to check this game out. But keep in mind, it's a short game, coming in at around 8 hours tops. So this may be a rental only if you have to play this game.
  6. This one's best left to diehard fans that can't bear to let anything Ratchet & Clank pass them by. Everyone else should let it go quietly away into the dark.
  7. No longer a sidekick Clank tries to be the hero of a game, unfortunately he fails in this psp port for the Playstation 2. A well devised gameplay is plagued by camera issues, poor detailed visuals and a limping frame rate.
  8. Honestly there is zero value in this game and in the end I would recommend playing one of the other far superior Ratchet and Clank games or mow the lawn.
  9. It's best attribute is its price - half that of the PSP game. [Sept 2009, p.81]

As a long time Ratchet and Clank fan I still remember the disappointment when I received this game.

Taken on its own terms, Secret Agent
Clank is actually a good game, taken on terms of the PSP and it's plain good. But compared to a proper Ratchet and Clank game Secret Agent Clank falls short on so many levels. Full Review »

I don't understand how this is a bad game. I had a volley of features and lots of replay, like any Ratchet and Clank. Using all those gadgets are pretty fun and same with the weapons. While the stealth is slightly unrealistic, it's fun, anyway, this is Ratchet and Clank. It's worth a buy and a look. Missing this one will be a mistake, especially if your a Ratchet and Clank fan. Secret Agent Clank is an okay game. But every other Ratchet and Clank game is so much better. The only real-good thing is the price. But the rest is slow loading times, bland combat system, and good but not great puzzles. Full Review »
