    It's just too bad that by putting in just a little effort pretty much everyone should be able to get through the game without much difficulty at all.
  2. Excellent gameplay is the order of the day here, and the classic franchises will make Dreamcast and Saturn fans teary-eyed just at the thought of them. This is the best EyeToy compilation to date.

  10. These minigames take a step beyond previous eyetoy efforts because they use many of the gaming elements that make their original incarnations such fun to play.
  11. Unfortunately, Sega SuperStars is missing one crucial thing - a multiplayer mode. You can enter your name at the end of each game if you've scored well enough, and the ability to take a photo of the winner and save it along with the score is nice, but there's no structured multiplayer mode such as the one found in EyeToy: Play.
  12. Sega Superstars’ many minigames may be of a decidedly variable quality, but those that are decent easily make up for the duds. All the Sega hallmarks are there, from the robust and colourful graphics to the faithful and sometimes nostalgia-inducing soundtrack.

The inclusion of familiar characters is no doubt a bonus to the game and the way the developers have tried to move the gameplay from those games to a new medium was very ambitious and in some cases did not come off, but others like Samba De Amigo and Space Channel 5 can very easily be ported to a new control system.

    Lacks the lastability of "Eyetoy: Play 2" as once the twelve games are over and the Chao garden has been exploited that is the end. There is no playroom and there are only small novel unlockables.
  18. It doesn't reinvent the EyeToy genre, and some of the games lose their appeal quickly or feel a bit too familiar, but the healthy number of minigames included in the package makes it one of best values out there for EyeToy owners.
  19. All of the games are arcade simple and relatively easy to play and master. Not all of them are a hoot however. "Crazy Taxi," which is a classic Dreamcast game is nothing but filler in this collection.
  20. The camera simply cannot detect movements accurately enough to make replaying games for a high score a viable option, since you’ll often not get credit for things you did correctly.

    The overwhelming majority of the games are over too quickly, making it a great party game but not something solo players will necessarily be returning to early and often. That said, it’s easily the best EyeToy disc released to date.
  28. It's a great way to work out, and it'll definitely be a hit at parties, but it's also a short-lived experience that doesn't feel like a full-fledged game.
