  1. In short, the game delivers what I would have expected. It’s an average title at best, appealing to the biggest ABBA fans.
  2. ABBA does not seem like an artist that the gamer audience can really identify with, and that is this title’s biggest weakness. However, if you can’t wait to belt out “Dancing Queen,” “Fernando,” and “Take a Chance on Me,” then SingStar ABBA will hit all the right notes.
  3. For those that enjoy karaoke, or those who are Abba fans and still clinging to your PS2, SingStar Abba is most likely a no-brainer of a purchase.
  4. I would highly recommend that anyone that enjoys singing try out the series and if you love ABBA then this latest addition to the series is worth a look.
  5. ABBA fans, run to the store and enjoy! As for the rest of the mass, I think we could pass this one.
  6. ABBA fans will say "I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do" to this SingStar release.
  7. We applaud the focus, but the flip side of that is a narrower market and decreased value to those of us who don’t know which of the ladies is Anni-Frid Lyngstad and which is Agnetha Faltskog. Knock it down to $20 and we’ll talk.
  8. ABBA fans should like this collection. Non-ABBA fans will not. The quality of the game is solid; it just comes down to taste in music.

I love SingStar but feel these artist-specific titles are missteps. There's not enough content for the price; the scope is super-limited; and even if you love ABBA, you'll need ABBA-obsessed friends to have a decent party with this title.
  10. All in all the list of songs tells the tale. If you like what you see, Singstar Abba is worth your money. If not, consider the other Singstar options.
  11. Clearly directed at one specific audience, SingStar ABBA, if nothing else, will satisfy hardcore fans of the series. Everyone else? Eh, not so much.
