  1. This is a great package but the song list is always going to be a bone of contention with singers as the variety of songs is too wide to please everyone. There are already five different variations of this game released in Europe and we should see more focused song lists in the future.
  2. Pelit (Finland)
A good selection of both old and new rock classics plus some not-so-classics that make you want to grab the microphone and sing. Well done! [April 2006]
  3. PSM2 Magazine UK
As an expansion of you SingStar library, this is arguably more essential than "80s" and "Popworld," depending on who your friends are. If only it worked with a guitar. [May 2006, p.57]
  4. Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK
The name is a little misleading, but it's still probably our favourite Singstar setlist so far. [May 2006, p.93]
  5. The only question is whether or not you like the sound of the track list, so take a gander, and maybe join me in a never-ending quest to collect noise pollution charges.
  6. 80
The karaoke system works very well, both in single-player and in multiplayer, and the original music videos improve the overall presentation of the game. The only problem I can see in this title is that 30 tracks won't be enough for whoever buys it, just because it's pretty addictive.
  7. Even on outdated hardware, it's impossible not to have a blast with SingStar Rocks.
  8. The core, though, is fantastic, and so long as you're partial to Top 40-ish hits, SingStar Rocks! does indeed rock.
  9. Really not a bad starting point for the series' North American debut. A bit more focus on the set list and this will be doing alright.
  10. The microphone sensitivity may be adequate for the mass marketing of the game, but these microphones are not that good.
  11. While SingStar Rocks! boasts 30 new songs to add to their repertoire, the song list leaves something to be desired.
  12. Games Master UK
Solid, uninspiring, but another worthy sing-along all the same. [June 2006, p.79]
  13. The important thing is there were a lot of songs I enjoyed, and unlike "Guitar Hero II," the game let me skip the songs I didn’t care for.

The soundtrack for this game is great. This is the best Singstar game out of the whole series.
