  1. This is a great package but the song list is always going to be a bone of contention with singers as the variety of songs is too wide to please everyone. There are already five different variations of this game released in Europe and we should see more focused song lists in the future.
  2. Really not a bad starting point for the series' North American debut. A bit more focus on the set list and this will be doing alright.
  3. The only question is whether or not you like the sound of the track list, so take a gander, and maybe join me in a never-ending quest to collect noise pollution charges.
  4. The design and presentation make this release more palatable for non-gamers than Konami's series, but the limited track selection and unfortunate forced vocal tracks remove some of that value.
  5. If you can track down Singstar Rocks on the cheap, though, you're pretty much guaranteed a few memorable drunken nights in. It's still as compelling and fatally flawed as it has ever been, where the ratio of good to bad songs is as frustrating as we've come to expect.
  6. If DDR started the whole music genre, this one made karaoke enjoyable! Cool mic and EyeToy integration translates into hours of good, clean fun.
  7. The songs, however, are mostly lame. No matter what genre you like, you'll be hard-pressed to find more than five songs you'll want to sing again and again.

The soundtrack for this game is great. This is the best Singstar game out of the whole series.
