DylanB.Jan 1, 200210One of the best war games I've ever played.

AdamB.Sep 8, 20024I'd rather play the first edition of Duke Nukem than this title, a waste of £39.99 if you ask me. Rent it, Don't buy it!

BenH.Sep 19, 200410Best multiplayer online game ever made. Pffft at cs its shit compared to this.. too many diehard fans destryiony fps's today for crappy games.

ChrisH.Feb 4, 20028Fun, but too easy. Looks more like an original Playstation or N64 game then a Playstation 2 game. Controls suck untill you customize, and the Playstation can't keep up processing the game; especially in multi-player. I like the game, I just wish I would have waited untill it dropped in price before I bought it.

BrianF.Feb 18, 200210This is the best. Gory, fun lots of action and pretty good graphics it's a definte buy. Just make sure you customize your controls.

73Action fans will have little room for complaints, however--Soldier of Fortune promises "action movie" gameplay and delivers. Each firefight is a challenge, and the detailed, though gruesome, enemy model animation enhances the realism.
-
Framerate lag (stuttering graphics) cuts into some of the more action-packed bullet storms, potentially ruining key game moments. [Jan 2002, p.222]

If you're looking for the thinking man's shooter, then keep searching. Soldier of Fortune is all about the mindless yet blissful twitch.
