  2. Negative: 1 out of 14
  1. Its combo of intense, old-school action-shooter gameplay... with entirely original elements (the sonar effect is genius) has me hooked. [Nov 2002, p.298]
  2. Though the graphics and sound are fairly basic (aside from a few lighting touches and stylish cinematics, Sub Rebellion could be a PSone game), the gameplay packs a more detailed punch.
  3. 70
After playing it for a while and as the game begins to get challenging, feelings of accomplishment and tension during battles start to creep in, and the game starts to evoke a decent bit of emotion.
  4. Because of this control scheme, moving your sub is a constant frustration, as positioning your sub is very hard, and precise movements are damn near impossible.
