  1. Easily reigns as the best dungeon crawler on the PS2, and one of the most engrossing RPGs around. [Nov 2002, p.122]
  2. An admirable sequel with a fascinatingly lengthy quest, great characters and plenty to see and do.
  3. 84
Incredibly large (even by RPG standards), this game is packed with gaping quests, enthralling side stories, and a complex backbone the likes of which are rarely seen.
  4. The first game had its strengths, however well-hidden, and the improvements in Summoner 2 help bring those qualities to the fore. [Nov 2002, p.46]

I thought the first game was great, but this is even better.

Excellent game but too many glitches.

This game was a disgrace. Sure we can all agree with the new battle system taking care of the quick tap to increase your damage, but now we have resorted to a mindless button mash. Something reserved for fighting games. And the boring level system. You complete an area and go to the castle then go to another level for the same mindless button mash. The game is a pathetic sequel to a great game and should not be bought for any reason aside from the company going bankrupt and they are giving them out for free. Collapse
