If you are new to the series like i was before i bought this game it will not dissapoint it has a huge variaty of options with tons of single play missions n challenges (some of which can be extremly challenging) but this is not where it shines the multi player mini games are pure genius personal faves include the baseball and the golf tournement. overall its a solid title it does have its minor flaws... the loading time for one is stupidly long but the loading time frown you devolope dissapears with a nice doubles game of tennis :) Expand

  1. There is some undue frustration thanks to an uncontrollable camera, but this is still the Monkey Ball game to get. [March 2005, p.58]

The constant loading times in between levels and in the menu screen put a damper on the fun. Other slight visual issues like drops in the frame-rate mean that this isn't the cleanest Monkey Ball to be released, but the game play remains accessible and fun.
  3. It's a simple premise in that brilliant sort of way, and it's helped along by fantastic level design full of undulating terrain, holes, ramps, bumpers, and who knows what else. [Apr 2005, p.76]
