  • Summary: It's 2018 and you're in command of the recently formed SWAT: Global Strike Team ? a squad comprised of the three best operators the special forces and law enforcement communities have to offer. Your task is to use all means available, including cutting-edge weaponry and next-generation gear, to bring international criminals to justice. To succeed, you'll need to master the skills of close-quarters combat, long-range shooting, and high tech equipment operation. You must also issue essential commands to your teammates via the controller or the optional voice recognition microphone. If you have what it takes to beat the 21 single player missions, grab a friend and battle through 10 unique multiplayer-only missions. Both modes showcase an amazing level of graphical sophistication, including hard-edged shadows and an Iris Effect lighting system that mimics the way the human eye works when moving between light and dark areas.     I must say that I was actually very impressed with the sounds in SWAT: Global Strike Team.

    SWAT’s action isn’t of the highest caliber. But with 21 levels, some cool concepts, and great multiplayer support, it’s a fine rental for most and an enjoyable mission for FPS fans.

    This game is good and bad for a variety of reasons. This is good, having a new police related, first-person shooter. It's fun using the compliance meter to make the enemies surrender, but I found it disappointing that there was only four weapons that could be used. I found it boring to wait and collect points to upgrade the weapons. I wish they had other things for inventory, and I found no point with the glow-sticks. It has a good multiplayer, but doesn't give much of a twist from the main storyline. It is definitely a renter though. Have Fun---Or Not?… Expand

    THis game is pathetic. what a load of trash. who would take the time to make such a game. half of it uses cell shading ( if thats how ya spell it) and the other uses "dubyas wettest dream" graphics. What the hell.Three damn primary weapons in the whole game. and one magical tranquilizer.What a selection.
