Create-A-Pet: Choose from dozens of dog and cat breeds or customize features for a one-of-a-kind pet. You can even modify your pet's body shape by choosing from specific colors and unique markings. Don't like the way they act? Change their personality – from smart and sweet to silly and sloppy – anyone can create their ideal animal friend in The Sims 2 Pets. Thankfully, a little training can go a long way. While there, watch your pet play well with others while your Sim can meet others and socialize with fellow animal lovers. Visit the adjoining Town Center, a great gathering spot for Sims that evolves over time. Once you’ve seen the latest styles and decided on a purchase, deck your pet out in the latest clothing and accessories around. From geek to chic and cool to casual, your Sim can customize their pet’s look with one stop in the Town Center. [Electronic Arts] Expand

  1. Ultimately, there’s something completely satisfying and entertaining in creating a real-life house in a Sims world and finding out what truly does happen when pets stop being polite and start getting real.
  2. If you’re a console gamer intrigued by the Sims games but don’t own a PC, Sims 2 Pets for PS2 may be fun for you to try, especially if you also enjoy virtual pets. Otherwise, the PC version is definitely your better bet.
  3. The Sims 2: Pets adds some moderately interesting animal companions but offers a surprisingly strong Sims 2 experience.
  4. I'm disappointed at the lack of defining complexities that grace every Sim game that appears on the PC platform. It's almost insulting - console users aren't dumb, we can handle some dimension!

This game is absoulutely amazing and would recommend it to anyone who luvs pets, the dogs have Puppie and tell you what the labrador and beagle puppies are so cute! Kittens are okay but im into dogs. The amount of new stuff is a bit low but that makes up whan you see how realistic the dogs and cats are, gerbils are good but if they run away and you have a dog bye bye gerbil. Expand

It is a cool and awesome game I liked it I played it like for 7 hours.
  4. This game gets old easily unless you're a pet lover in reality. As a non-pet-lover, it's difficult to know what to do with your pets, even more difficult when it is you and your pets combined. Pet lovers will love this game though. Expand
