  1. Other than the sound, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 does everything needed to help give the franchise a breath of fresh air. It’s nice to see that EA Sports can do more than just throw in one new play or change one part of a game.
  2. 90
The first game in the series that doesn't fully deliver the goods. One can't help but feel like the series needs a shot in the arm to get players excited again.
  3. The only bogeys are a still-clunky interface - no auto-save, you can only adjust stats at certain times, etc. - a skittish camera, and overly long pre-and-post-swing reaction shots that drag on and on. [Nov 2005, p.85]
  4. It's not a revolution, but it's an improvement. [Nov 2005, p.140]
  5. 82
What remains to be seen is whether EA can reintroduce a suitable element of difficulty to knock the series back in the right direction without forcing an unintentional bogie.
  6. There are no massive revolutions since last year but this still easily retains its 'king of the swingers' crown. [Nov 2005, p.118]
  7. I'm surprised and saddened that this was outdone by a two-year-old game. EA's trying some new things here, but they don't quite work yet.
