It's graphically below par (shouldn't they be over par?), but the gameplay is so smartly evolved that it's $60 well spent. [Jan 2006, p.81]
A better looking and a smarter, more serious golfing experience than any other console title to date.
While Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 isn't without its flaws -- I would have appreciated more courses and it does take a long time to "master" -- it is probably the best of EA's launch sports titles for the 360.
A mere shadow of its current-generation brethren. Improved graphics are always great, but at the cost of features and fun, it just isn't worth it.
Anyone who's played Tiger in the past, or even "Links 2004" for that matter, will find this an unnecessary addition to their library. It's not a bad game, it's just not a fantastic show-stopper of one either.
Tiger Wood's PGA Tour 2006 is an average title that doesn't even match up to the current generation equivalents.
While an online mode does help alleviate some of the issues found in the single-player game, the severe lack of content makes it really hard to justify a purchase.
