  1. No matter how you tee it up, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is simply the best golfing game available today.
  2. 85
Whilst certainly the best in the series, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 suffers from being far too similar to the previous game. [Issue 145, p.93]
  3. Same innovative control scheme as last year’s edition, now with a greater emphasis on using both analog sticks to land the best shot. The new courses were designed with a variety of layouts, ranging from easy to extremely difficult.
  4. It adds a new wrinkle to your career mode via Team Tour mode. You'll beat the usual club pros as you go up the ladder, but this time you can add them to your team.
  5. The best golf game you can buy, but - as before - not significantly different from the last game. [Nov 2006, p.82]
  6. 75
It's as good a golf game as they come, and while there might not be a whole lot of improvement over 06's mechanics, it's at least as good if not better than last year's title.
  7. The simulation is the best I’ve seen to date, it just falls short of my "Golden Tee" memories.

The best golf game on the PS2 by miles. The new game features make up for the lack of improvement in the graphics etc. Brilliant. But again not vastly different from 2006. Expand

Tthere are more courses and play modes, however, there are a few problems with this game. I couldn't get the power boost to work, even with solid red ball, the distance doesn't seem further. The wind is never a factor. Team mode is fun except 'one ball'.single player is short, pga tour is boring, money is useless after 100k. no gamebreaker like in '06. and i cant seem to put a fade shot on the ball, only high or low loft.finally, Zan put his pc review of this game in the ps2 review area. There are some wierd little glitches though occur to spoil the game. The main glitch is the A.I. This has to be the poorest golfing A.I. of any version, playing through the PGA tour section you confronted with Central Park, and as many players will remember, you have to play this 1 particular course a few times. This will achieve experience points to increase your skill, but and here is the big problem, the A.I. golfers will constantly run into trouble and you will have to sit back at times and watch 24+ shots until the hole is conceded. the ESC key comes in very handy here but still does not make playing the Novice ranks any mopre enjoyable. Graphically while EA may feel there new system looks good ti me personally I think its poor. There is an odd glow around your char which you can turn off and some strange pixeling which I think is again a new graphical touch. All in all 05 and 06 win hands down here. The onlie experience has not been sorted too much and I feel that again exploiters will make the Online experience feel a tad rubbishy as per usual. THe LAN side is still pretty decent side to the game albeit configuring firewalls is a nusiance and the lack of being able to have a full 8 players on LAN seems a trifle petty. All-in-all nothing really new except extra bugs..good old EA. Expand

Its still the same old Tiger Woods PGA Tour...not much has changed, at least nothing thats all that exciting. This game loves to mess with you when you're doing well. If you're rolling through a tournament, reach the fourth round, and have a 5 stroke lead with 9 to go, expect every one of your shots to start flying 100 yards to the left. I enjoy games that are realistic and obviously winning every tournament isn't realistic...but I think they could find a better way to keep you from winning too much, like boosting general difficulty rather than having your final few shots fly a few hundred yards off course. Almost a complete re-hash of last years game. The commentary is poor and the old flaw in last years game is still there. When you're putting for the match with a VERY high score the commentators say this put to tie for the lead. I found a cheat in last years game and vowed never to buy it again but got it from a friend and having tried it, I will never ever buy it again. If I want to play this game I'll opt for 2004 version.
