Easy to pick up, hard to put down. [Nov 2006, p.82]
A charming platformer. While its relative simplicity was appreciated on the PSP, it feels a little underwhelming on the PlayStation 2.
This slightly enhanced version of Tecmo's endearing, puzzle-heavy PSP platformer is still fun, but it feels small on the PS2.
Most of the game's content has been ported over to the bigger console, with very little improvements to the design and only a few new puzzles and challenges added.
No real improvements have been made to the game which is a wasted opportunity as the poor camera and basic graphics stand out even more on the PS2 than in the original version.
A cheerful, happy little game - it's got some lovely ideas in places and doesn't take itself too seriously - but it was far more at home on the PSP than it is on a home console, and it has gained pretty much nothing in the transition to the PS2.
