  1. Far from perfect, the game comes on strong with enough realism and excellent control to shake a bat at.
  2. A very fun baseball game to play. The game's great graphics, involving gameplay, and great commentary all blend together to deliver an exciting and authentic game of baseball.
  3. I have played all three PS2 baseball games and TP is by far the most entertaining in terms of scoring a lot of runs, racking up a lot of strikeouts, and looking at eye candy. To hold TP to a simulation-standard would be putting it in the wrong genre.
  4. Skill may be virtually impossible to develop in TP2002. The batting interface is so basic it’s nearly laughable.

Average game... the controls for making defensive plays are poor using the analog joysticks...pitcher stamina also comes in to question and also pitcher accuracy (in terms of pitching prowess) also comes into question. Expand
