The biggest advantage to picking up the classic board game for PS2 is the online play. Getting a game started is simple enough and there are no noticeable technical problems.

Won't hold up to extended play anyway because of the too-small question set. It's a shame; it's a well put-together game otherwise.
  3. If the game really interests you, go ahead and get it. You probably won’t be disappointed and it even has online play, though goodness knows why as you’ll be lucky to find an opponent.

The worst thing about this title is that there are no dowloadable questions, so you can run out fast. I also don't know why they didn't make use of all the different Trivial Pursuit editions out there. [Aug 2004, p.96]

It seems obvious to me that the videogame version lost some of its excitement in the translation. Whatever the developers added to compensate just doesn't work.

As board games and trivial games go its good, and multiplayer can be good too overall it's a good game, that can be addicting at times.
