  • Summary: The story of a young mercenary named Leise, who has inadvertently angered the God of Light by removing the mystical Treasure Orb from its sacred pedestal. As punishment, the God of Light forever separates his soul from his body until he atones for his sins by helping the people of Walondia. However, without a physical body of his own, the only way to change the fates of the people is to possess them. Finally PS2 has a decent RPG. Granted you have to get past the graphics but that battle engine just had me wanting to play more and more.
  2. A treasure trove of interesting and creative ideas, all melded to form a title that falls short of a classic, but will fill in the niche void for the console's RPG fans.
  3. It's not the deepest game, nor is it lengthy by any means, but it is fun, despite the long periods of walking and talking.
  4. It isn’t a bad game; it’s just not exceptionally good, either.
  5. Occasionally you'll get the chance to move on and actually fight monsters, but it seems like forever and a day in between those moments.
  6. Clever, but not nearly clever-enough to overcome the dull and boring predictability "Tsugunai" [exudes] as it unfolds at a maddenigly slow pace.
  7. Many of the interesting concepts in T:A llose their appeal shortly after the umpteenth quest to help some tortured soul in town.

I found that I have enjoyed this game much more than "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance." Though I have found some of the scenes a bit boring, pound for pound the amount of play time has been great. Expand

This game could have been done a lot better. I mean the battle is great but the game sooo slow. The story progresses slowly, and for the graphics they're nice too. Expand
