  1. Night of the Quinkan has a really nice control scheme and plays really well. The platforming elements, racing, and combat are all really tuned well.
  2. There is no doubt that fans of the series will be more than satisfied with the new levels, story, weapons, and vehicles.

Variety, accessibility, value, fun and tons of content is what TY the Tasmanian Tiger is all about, and never has Krome done a better job at pulling all of these elements together than they have in TY 3: Night of the Quinkan.

Something a bit more aboriginal would be nice too... it's definitely time for Ty to get some edge. [Nov p.95]

Pros: More action-adventure elements and varied gameplay, great graphics, visuals, and control, and much more difficult and lengthier than the series has been. Cons: Improves little upon its predecessors other than some sparky gameplay and visual spark, repetitive combat, and still lacks the charm it "thinks" it has. Full Review »

This installment has a soDespite the game's graphics, nothing else really make fans dislike this third installment of the platformer series. This installment has a so much better plot than the predecessor, many twists and conflicts. There's also new vechiles to control to, one is the Crabmersible which helps you to travel from one place to another and it's faster than the Fourbie in the second game. Another is a war plane called Gunyip, really good in on-air fights. Our hero Ty has a new weapon, the Shadow Gauntlet, which kills the enemies called Quinkan who could not be killed by Ty's usual boomerangs. Still, Ty has his boomerangs to kill other enemies.
