  1. UEFA Champions League is a good game, but it doesn't have the 360 version's card-collecting hook, and it's not much different from "FIFA 07."

After spending a few days tinkering around with it, we can't say anything great or awful about UEFA Champions League 2006-2007, but we feel that it's pretty much a build on last fall's game more than a distinctive title that stands out on its own.
  3. Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK
Blatantly a cash-in, on the back of the knockout stages of the Champions' League. But still a formidable football game. [Apr 2007, p.78]
  4. AceGamez
The free flowing, goal stuffed fantasy matches are a long way from the often cautious, stop start nature of many real European encounters, and for this reason UEFA are probably more than happy with the finished product.

One thing Champions League clearly has over Winning Eleven, though, is the ability to transfer your Treble campaign back and forth between the PS2 and PSP, so you never have to go without. The games are identical, and while the PSP has a tough time with everything, doing transfers on the PS2 will save you time.
  6. The Champions League is a amazing showcase of the drama and passion of the beautiful game, but EA have botched its transition to PS2 by simply repackaging "FIFA 07" with minor tweaks and insubstantial additions. Quite simply, a wasted opportunity.
  7. Playstation Official Magazine UK
UEFA plays almost identically to "FIFA 07," but it has fewer teams, which makes it impossible to recommend over its fuller-featured predecessor. Or indeed the mighty "Pro Evo 6." [May 2007, p.93]
  8. Play UK
Much like EA, as far as sports sims go, we're just far too interested in the next-generation to care about this one anymore. [Issue #152, p.62]
