If you are into mixed martial arts and no holds barred fighting, you will love this game. If you don't like realism and want to hit someone with a sword 20 times before they die, find a cheesy fighting game.

This is a real fighting game for real fighting fans. MMA fans give praise, as all other fighting games are for little boys and their make believe chop-socky ninja toys.

I purchased this game the day after it came out because of a demo version they had set up for trying out. It could use improvement, but it is still worth the $40 I shelled out for it.

This game is the best fighting game made so far. There are tap outs, knock outs, and decisions. With explosive replays and hits. If you watch UFC you will see that almost every move used in the game happens in the real octagon. Tito is the man!

This game is a total blowout! it really sucks and it is too easy... I tried it out for the first time and just pressed buttons and i beat the comp in two seconds... not very good.

  1. UFC fans should be more than satisfied. It’s not as polished as I would’ve liked, and the depth is somewhat hindered by overly similar modes of play.
  2. While you're not going to rock your friends socks off with the none-too-glitzy presentation of UFC Throwdown, the game's tight controls, smooth combat and surprising flexibility will make up for those shortcomings with little difficulty.
  3. Controlled in much the same way as Tekken, the game is played out at a somewhat less feverish pace and whilst never reaching the compelling heights of the aforementioned titles, bouts are still something that beat-’em-up fans should enjoy.
