If you've already spent your $2.97 before, you should save yourself the $40 bucks and just go back to your iPhone.

Angry Birds is a perfect mobile diversion game. It's quick and addictive, and before you realize how its fickle physics can be incredibly unfair, your game is interrupted by a phone call. It's not the sort of game that works well when you want to cozy up on the couch for a few hours.

If you have already played the mobile versions, there's not any reason to buy this version.
  4. As a PSN budget title, Trilogy would soar. At $40, though, it's a bit of a turkey. [Dec 2012, p.87]
  5. There's no faulting the quality and content. But yeah, wait for a serious price drop. [Christmas 2012, p.75]

It's three games that are not coincidentally phenomenally successful, all rolled into one batch. And it really is a winner, as long as you enjoy the HD graphics and are willing ignore that it is a bit pricey and you always have to cram out the disc if you want to have a go. It doesn't take much away from the quality on offer, but it's up to you if you need the prettiest and most expensive version of this.

It's hard to argue that you won't get value for your money given the amount of content in the game, but as it stands today I can only recommend it for the hardcore fans of the mobile versions. The rest of you can wait until the price drops.
  8. The brighter ones among you probably know that Angry Birds was already released once as a PlayStation Mini, but that Mini was just a subpar port of the smartphone version. This time around Rovio did its best when it comes to graphics. [December 2012, p.89]

Why did this guy rate a 9 on something that shouldn't be on the PS3. Console gamers have had the chance to play a game like this in the 90's why would we pay $20 for a game that we can buy on the mobiles for $3-$4. I would rather sprang one more dollar and buy Super Mario World. Full Review »

Better than other budget titles. Who remembers Transformers: The Game? Horrible! At least Angry Birds has 100 hours of content! People these days... What a riot! It's just bull. Full Review »
