This $10 DLC pack offers a couple hours of single player fun. The actions you perform are varied, with a good (albeit short) side story. The two new areas (which are not directly connected to Rome), offer some fun free running and acrobatic areas. Trophy enthusiasts should note the addition of 10 trophies. The Animus Project Update 3.0 included with this DLC is quite fun. Assassinate is a more open (and just slightly more difficult) version of Free For All Manhunt. Escort is kinda self explanatory, and it will have you scanning everywhere from rooftops to haystacks to the general crowd to protect/kill the designated VIPs. If you are a huge Assassin's Creed fan, Ubisoft made this for you, granted you are willing to fork over the $10. If you are not a huge fan, I would advise against this purchase, as you may be disappointed in the amount of content that you get for your $10. Try the PS3 exclusive Conspiracy missions first if you are on the fence about this. If you liked them, you would like this. Expand

Absolutely Superb DLC!!! The Single-Player Sequence is a work of art! Lots of interesting missions and finale mission is fantastic!! Mindblowing ending which might spark up a few more debates on Brotherhood's cliffhanger and Assassin's Creed III's premise. On the multiplayer side, we get 4 new personas, 1 map and 2 new game modes. All the pre-order bonus characters are unlocked. Overall, A Superb DLC from UBISOFT! Insiemme per la vittoria!â Expand

By far the best DLC of the year so far, and well worth the $10!! Forget black ops first strike and dead space 2 severed, if you're a fan of the series this is just a MUST BUY. it explains the cliffhanger and where the game might go next after this which os freaking awesome, the single player missions are long, unique and freaking fun as hell, the 2 new locations are cool and original, and the old locations looks so different that it feels like you've never been there before which is crazy, it also has some new characters and brings back some old characters, sorry I wont spoil anything but seriously its awesome lol plus dont forget the mutiplayer expansions, it gives you 6 new characters( if u didn't already have harley quinn and the officer) 2 new modes and 1 new map! seriously guys just go buy this now, you will not regret it! Ubisoft learns, and it has definitely learned with Assassin's Creed II DLC packs. The Da Vinci Disappearance is neither great nor necessary, but it is a fairly good DLC pack and has a lot of substance. The story is told in eight missions as a separate tale from the main story, but it manages to add some context to Ezio's story without being too serious or confusing. These story missions are varied and original. There are also two new templar lairs to explore, a new gambling side-game to play and a new armor to use. For the achievement-hungry, ten new trophies to earn. All these things are gimmicks, yes, but they stock up for a complete DLC pack that covers all basics. To top it off, new characters and game modes for the online multiplayer of Brotherhood. Ultimately, The Da Vinci Disappearance is an acceptable DLC pack that has something to please each buyer. Although I do not support the DLC this is an important addition to the game, because at the end aprsenta us coordinates for New York.
Having thus directions to the location of AC III. This is a good addition to AC Brotherhood, increasing the playing time. Essential to all true fans of AC.

    Excellent value. [Issue#204, p.97]

The combination of its weak story setup and the arduous grind to see it through completely killed the single player portion of this DLC add-on for me; thankfully, the multiplayer additions allow me to cautiously recommend it for those who enjoy playing AC:B online and have ten bucks to burn – everyone else, there's nothing much to see here.

The story mode alone is worth the price of admission, but the new multiplayer modes, characters, and map will keep you coming back.
