  1. Solid gameplay, stunning aerial effects, but nothing that will have you celebrating. [Oct 2007, p.82]
  2. But in the end, Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII simply isn't worth the price of admission.
  3. Aviation purists might hate the game, but at the end of the day, it's really good fun. [Jan 2008, p.102]

While it's a more arcade-like take on the Nazi conflict, Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII is enjoyable, albeit easy.
  5. Blazing Angels 2 is a clear improvement over the previous game, though history buffs will probably hate the game's fictional missions.
  6. While the missions are fun and the online multiplayer more than adequate, the game can be completed with very little trouble. If you enjoyed the first game you will certainly like this one even more.
  7. The SIXAXIS controls do feel bolted on, but left to traditional controls, it succeeds in being a solid flight game. It may not have some of the polish in the presentation that more impressive games like the oft-mentioned Ace Combat games have, but it's still fun.
  8. If you've got even a passing interest in aircraft this is definitely worth a look. [Feb 2008, p.78]

Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII is an improvement over its predecessor, but still suffers from a few obvious flaws in its design to be considered a 'must-have' title. However, if you dig flying planes and shooting stuff, this title is certainly worth checking out.
  10. I'm not saying it's not fun, because it is, but as a sequel, a few opportunities to really push the franchise were sadly missed. [Jan 2008, p.85]
