  • Summary: Bodycount rips apart the first person shooter as genre-defining gunplay comes alive in a balletic orgy of bullets and destruction.

Experience the intense thrill of close-quarters combat in a shreddable world as Bodycount blasts outrageous fire-fights and ferocious action from both barrels
. Become a powerful combat asset green-lighted to eliminate enemies known only as 'Targets' on behalf of the 'Network', ensnared in a clandestine global power struggle that rages away from the headlines and under the cover of conventional war zones.

This exhilarating shooter drops players into chaotic areas of operations equipped with a mouth-watering selection of contemporary weapons to tear through environments and enemies, chaining kills, earning power ups and building up a bullet meter to unleash devastating air strikes on enemies.
Complimented by co-operative online play and multiplayer modes, Bodycount will set new standards for spectacular, visceral gun play and put the fun back into the FPS.

Deep in its heart Bodycount is a great arcade action game with some really good shooting mechanics - but when it comes to all the little extras that make a game special, it fails. The aiming system just doesn't feel right, there is no working mechanic to make the player feel the current health for his character, the score system fails to make you wanna replay the missions and so on. The really good and nicely exaggerated spy story in the background doesn't help much either - it's told in a totally boring and underwhelming way.
  2. Its detail-starved environments and lackluster narrative can't compete with its contemporaries' richly rendered worlds, but Bodycount's back-to-basics approach shines like a welcome beacon of simple fun in a sea of increasingly complex shooters. [Nov 2011, p.81]

There's nothing really bad about it, but nothing really exemplary, either.

Bodycount has too many flaws to emerge in such a competitive market. Poor AI, unpolished and uninspired graphics and many issues with the ironsight definitely sink the boat.

El juego es una apuesta distinta al juego normal y plano que mas vende. Para los que se quejan que no hay innovación y juegan siempre las mismas was, prueben este juego. Expand
  2. This poor game, unloved and misunderstood by many. I can give this game a good score based on the fact I paid a fiver for it from the bargain table, honestly what can you get for 5 bucks? A burger? A beer? I'm not saying this game is better than a beer but it has given me more enjoyment than a single beverage and unlike a beer that ultimately trickles down the drain this title will be quietly circling the drain for years to come. I say well done Codemasters for creating titles for gamers with no money to buy A-list games. Expand
  3. I played this game on release. It was fun. Finished the game and was still left confused by the lack of completion. It was like sonic the hedgehog was given a gun in a casino and told to shoot for free booze. This game is incomprehensible. Yet on the other hand it looks great and is completely addictive like a slots machine. Sound is great. If only the team who wrote 'Brink' got into this you would have a smash. Online play was non existent when i played, cant imagine the traffic increasing. Collapse
  4. Oh god, what an abomination. It's probably the worst game ever, making Call of Juarez: The Cartel look like a triple A. It looks bad, Bodycount's AI is nonexistent, online play is broken or simply doesn't work. Stay away from this. Expand
