Trials can be single player or two-play co-op experiences and shared with players from around the world who can download and play them for leaderboard scores. For players that are looking for new challenges right out of the box, Trials of St. Lucia includes 40 increasingly difficult Trials designed by the Dante’s Inferno team at Visceral Games. With this game-extending pack, players will also receive an all-new playable character – St. Lucia of Syracuse – Dante’s guardian angel who flies and is equipped with all-new moves and combos. Dante's Inferno: Trials of St. Lucia ads lots of fun gameplay to the original game and shows us that multiplayer can work in a hack 'n slash title like this.
  2. The Trials of St. Lucia is a robust and very worthwhile DLC release for a great game. If you are into challenge arenas, you couldn't ask more.

The clever level editor still makes this essential. [Issue#194, p.102]
  4. Trials of St. Lucia is the second expansion to Dante's Inferno and it's better than Dark Forest. This DLC offers a full featured combat editor with which players can create, upload and share created trials with other players across the world and a online co-operative gameplay for two players with a new character. But not everything is perfect.
  5. The same shallow combat that plagued the original release keeps this feature-rich pack from being absolved.
