In this current gen's masterpiece, Philip Dick meets William Gibson and Blade Runner meets the original Deus Ex. We can't see how on earth Warren Spector will stick with making another Disney game.

It's rare that I play a game that doesn't just let me play the way I like, but actually showers me with prizes for doing so, and I love it.

An impressive return of the series made by people who love and have respected the original game. A complex world to explore and a story that will engage the player for the many hours it lasts. Solid gameplay that rewards the skillful player.

Deus Ex is yet again, more than the sum of its parts, one of the most captivating games in years. It's a title far from perfect, however is a must play for anyone who is passionate for great Sci-Fi stories and action games.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is pretty good and is not a perfect game just because it lacks the originality that Deus Ex managed to get on the turn of the millennium.

On the whole, Deus Ex: Human Revolution expects the player to handle their own progression appropriately and hand-holding is kept to a minimum. Given the often-commonplace mentality that many modern games should lead players around by the nose to one degree or another, having the guts to return to a philosophy of personal responsibility and choice isn't just smart-it's appreciated.

A curious hybrid: a stealthy shooter with RPG-like exploration and storytelling. It's not as direct as a sci-fi COD, nor as expansive or open as Fallout. Instead, it's somewhere in the middle. But that's also what makes the series special, and Human Revolution does the Deus Ex name proud, providing an absorbing world to investigate and a satisfying freedom to play by your own rules. Luckily, as there is nothing else out thereI was initially put off this game due to the reviews of difficult boss battles and twitchy AI.... Luckily, as there is nothing else out there worth buying currently, I decided to go for it... And I'm so glad I did as it is an amazing game. Love the atmosphere and the relative freedom. I've just finished it and will probably start it all again soon - good replay value. Oh, and by the way, the boss battles are actually simple (just run up to them end hit them with two or three typhoon shots) Expand

Graphics are solid, so is music and in game sounds. Tons of weapons and customizations. AI of enemies is good but not perfect. This game offers many hours of game play. Since Mass Effect i did not enjoy any game that much. overall highly recommended. Expand

What I wanted was an open world adventure where I can explore and interact with other characters. What it turned out to be is a small section of open world with a few (not very many) missions, and then that leads into long first-person-shooter levels that do not allow for a return to the open world. I enjoyed the Bladerunner like ambiance (akin to the old PC Bladerunner game) but really this is a FPS with a couple of city levels to run around in. The game is unfinished - it seems rushed to beat the really sweet and ultra-modern games coming out this holiday season. I bought Deus Ex: Human Revolution on day one at the full $60, and well it wasn't worth that much. At $40 it would be a good deal, at $20, I would recommend it to everyone because the story and ambiance are worth a 9. If Deus Ex 3 is actually finished by the design team I would expect an awesome game - but they need to be taking notes if they want to keep up with the big-boys. Expand

As a shooter, it completely fails, with ridiculously bad weapons. As a story, it's so basic and un-interesting it's not even funny. The level are so badly designed that it's a pain to get oriented in them, the graphics are so early 2000. Bref. This game could have been good in 2000 or 2001, but today it's just a horrible horrible game. don't believe the hype. Expand
