  1. We are usually a bit skeptical when it comes to this kind of DLC, but we also have to admit we had a good bit of fun playing the Dunwall City Trials. On top that, just like the main game, there's plenty of replay value to be found here. [February 2013, p.91]

    Those who enjoyed Dishonored's gameplay mechanics and are out for a challenge will be bound to try Dunwall City Trials. Its high difficulty, the urge to beat other players' scores and its low price make this DLC a very tempting option for those who deem themselves fans of Arkane Studios.

    The highly anticipated return to Dunwall gets tainted by the fact that Dishonored's sum is greater than its parts. When these parts are separated from each other in uneven trial the brilliance is somewhat lost. Great concept art sketches, though.
