  • Summary: The dreaded Archdemon has been slain and the advance of the darkspawn halted by a lone, heroic Grey Warden. The kingdom rejoices, but at least one question remains: what happened to Morrigan? The sorceress joined the Wardens cause, but it is said her true purpose was not revealed until the eve of the last battle. She vanished into the shadows, and while rumors claimed she crossed over the mountains into Orlais no trace of her path could be found. She was never heard from again... until now. Nearly a year has passed since the Archdemon's death, and word has reached the Wardens that Morrigan has returned to Ferelden. She has been sighted in the southern wilderness where she was first encountered. Is it truly her? If it is, then why has is she here and what secret does she carry with her? The Warden heads into the forest to find out and tie up this last loose end once and for all. Expand

  1. Despite some small bugs and two somewhat open endings, Witch Hunt proves to be a fine DLC that should't disappoint any fan of the series. If you're a fan of the game and look forward to a decent conclusion to the fantasy saga told until now, look no further.
  2. 65
The tale of how you find Dragon Age's sparsely clothed mage is a decent one filled with personality and humor, and the combat encounters, as brief as they are, can be fun, but Witch Hunt ultimately doesn't provide enough substance to satisfy.
  3. A mediocre ugprade to a real great RPG. Shame.
  4. Morrigan's return is a disappointment in this vapid downloadable add-on.

  1. Recycled areas and enemies is something that has become expected of BioWare lately, and it all apparently started with this DLC. that being said, it did give closure on the Warden and one of the more popular characters and bring more intrigue into the future of the DA universe....however disappointing it actually wound up being. 2. A very short basic cake walk through recycled areas and enemies. I own all the DLC and this one has to be the least value and biggest disappoint to me by far. It contains one mildly interesting, but still very easy boss fight with a new enemy. The story is extremely weak, introduces more questions than it answers and the encounter with Morrigan feels short and cheap. One positive note is that the new voice work was excellent as always and some of the ambient conversations gave me a chuckle, and that's the only reason this doesn't get a 1. Expand
  3. This is an insult from bioware since mass effect is getting excellent downloads like lair of the shadow broker.

    No conclusion, old areas, not
hing new and one of the worst conclusion to an excellent game. Expand
  4. This was a rather disappointing DLC on multiple levels. Lack of compelling story and enemies. For what was billed as a conclusion for the PC in regards to Morrigan it felt superficial and rushed. I also felt cheated at the end as my PC did not get closure at all. Perhaps it was because I am a female and play mainly female characters but Morri was my best pal and the end was a huge disappointment. I know that those in a romance with her felt a bit more sated but this DLC did not live up to its billing. In Morri's words, "such a shame..." Expand
