Cynics won't be able to see past the aesthetics that were kid-tested and executive-approved, but the curious might just find something wholly unique and affecting for their PlayStation.
Your EyePet will quickly feel like a member of the family and it's very rewarding to see a young child's eyes light up when they see and interact with it. If you have children and they want a pet, but you're against the responsibility, EyePet may actually be a decent substitute.

Obviously aimed for a younger demographic, this game is enjoyable for the whole family. With many customizable outfits and styles for the EyePet, players can spend quite some time just modifying their pet. There are many activities for the player and their pet from feeding, playing catch, drawing toys for it, and just messing around with the EyePet. The challenges are great for kids.
This game showcases many cool features for the new Move controller and Playstation Eye. The augmented reality does a great job of immersion and interaction.

EyePet: Move Edition doesn't really offer a very worthwhile experience but it's a game that tried to do something new and was a good family-oriented experience. It's simple, it's charming, it's sweet. All you could look for in a game for the kids. Some of the features were a bit frustrating but that was expected from a motion game.

The interaction between yourself and EyePet is tremendously accurate and responsive, and I think that's what counts most.
For the lady gamers out there: if you like cute things at all, don't be afraid to pick this up, and don't be surprised if your man ends up cooing at that damn monkey-dog right alongside you.
Sony's EyePet is a creative and fun game with plenty of content but it suffers from a lack of proper instruction.
A pet simulation clearly aimed at young gamers, this new version of EyePet doesn't add so much to the original formula, but you'll be pleased to discover its great variety of gameplay.
A worthless use of the Move controller and something even kids will vomit at.
Its a kids game for christ sake !!!!!! this game aims for children and it is very fairly liked by them. so i think those old guys reviewing rubbish should leave.

I didn't play it for long, after noticing how weak and boring it is. Obviously, it can be a good (temporary) option for the (younger) kids. The frustrating functionality of the Move controller didn't help too much on having a better opinion of this product.
