  1. FIFA Street 3 is about taking all the superficial and superfluous things about modern day football – from the overhead kicks to the pop-culture that surrounds the beautiful game in the 21 st century – and placing them centre stage.
  2. It looks and plays nicely, but we prefer "NBA Homecourt" because it has more depth. Still, it's a welcome change from "PES." [Mar 2008, p.68]
  3. With the graphics firmly in place, and the gameplay simplified, this is a game that really should build the foundation for a major step into the limelight. FIFA Street 3 is fine, but lacks a robust variety of game modes, and thus suffers for it.
  4. FIFA Street 3 has plenty of style but not quite enough substance to justify the price of admission.
  5. The mechanics are too loose to feel properly competitive in the style of a traditional footy game, which can get especially frustrating when you're defending. [Mar 2008, p.100]
  6. Flamboyant fun, but doesn't feel like you're playing real football. [Mar 2008, p.103]
  7. This series would benefit greatly from a re-imagining.

Great graphics and gameplay, but there simply isn't the depth in the challenge mode, and no real career type mode.
