  • Summary: Full Auto 2: Battlelines puts high-speed vehicles outfitted with weapons and armor into fully realized and fully destructible urban street environments. Fierce combat-racing will ensue as you strategically use destruction to win races as well as leave massive devastation in your wake. Players can destroy the environment to dynamically change track conditions to block competitors, open new paths, or crush opponents with falling debris caused by well-timed missiles. Full Auto 2: Battlelines also introduces a new Arena Mode featuring team play and six different levels, each specifically designed for a unique type of multiplayer car combat. In the new multi-path single player campaign, players battle to take control of Staunton City by conquering the six different districts and taking control of opponent cars and weapons. The game's six different carnage-filled multiplayer modes, which incorporate team play and objectives ranging from classic deathmatches to unique base assaults and gladiator-style gameplay, deliver a diverse range of competitive options. The sequel implements the fan-favorite Unwreck feature, which allows players to turn back time and take another shot at a treacherous turn, avoid a deadly obstacle, or simply avoid enemy fire. 1. A commendable improvement to last year's release. The driving physics are still a little more awkward than one would hope for, but if you can see past this flaw, then there's plenty of adrenaline pumping, gut wrenching racing waiting for you.
  2. Full Auto 2 improves on its predecessor, although not in an extreme way. The sheer destructiveness will make anyone feel truly bad to the bone.
  3. Looks and sounds good, but the game feels like it was designed by a committee. Gameplay is just too boring, repetitive and old-fashioned. [Feb 2007]
  4. Full Auto 2: Battlelines may be the only driving combat game available for the PS3 at this point in time, but remember: backwards compatibility is there for a reason.

This game is fun and the destruction is massive, but the single player is to easy even on hard.

There's a reason why this game should have been delayed, and its the same reason why its predecessor should have been delayed. Like its predecessor on the 360, this is an extremely buggy game. The driving physics are horrendous even for an arcade game that isn't meant to take them seriously. The weapons lack any sort of creativity and the courses are all pretty bland. Do yourself a favor and wait for the next Burnout game or get Motorstorm... or pick up a copy of Twisted Metal: Black for the PS2 (for under $10) and play that instead. It may not be as good looking, but it plays a heck of a lot better. Expand

This game blows like everything else PS3. The system is such a letdown. Its said the PS2 was actually good. Please people, dont waste the price of this game and $600 (Yes! The system really is that much, I know, I know...) and buy a 360 which is worth the price or even better a Wii. And if you own it, sell it on Ebay while you still can and people haven't realized how bad the system is. Expand
