    Nostalgia is all well and good but it doesn't change the fact that Golden Axe hasn't aged well. It has been totally outclassed by scrolling beat-'em-ups from it's own generation (Streets of Rage, for example) and has also made this port with a slapdash mentality. No descent extras or upscaling here, just the old bare bones. Basically, Golden Axe is best avoided unless you have the most hardcore of nostalgia for it.… Expand
