    Nostalgia is all well and good but it doesn't change the fact that Golden Axe hasn't aged well. It has been totally outclassed by scrollingNostalgia is all well and good but it doesn't change the fact that Golden Axe hasn't aged well. It has been totally outclassed by scrolling beat-'em-ups from it's own generation (Streets of Rage, for example) and has also made this port with a slapdash mentality. No descent extras or upscaling here, just the old bare bones. Basically, Golden Axe is best avoided unless you have the most hardcore of nostalgia for it. Collapse
