Feb 7, 201290While I find myself more disappointed than I expected that games like Jak X, Daxter and even The Lost Frontier (ugh) aren't included in the package, The Jak and Daxter Collection has reminded me why I fell in love with the series, and Naughty Dog as a developer.

Feb 6, 201293Though some aspects of the games are dated now, the Jak games stand up as epic adventures. [Mar 2012, p.94]

Mar 9, 201287Jak and Daxter arrive for the first time on Blu-ray Disc thanks to this excellent collection. The games are a remastered port of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II: Renegade and Jak 3 with new high-definition resolutions, stereoscopic 3D and Trophies. A great opportunity to enjoy three masterpieces of the recent past.

May 7, 201290Playing this collection on the big screen TV has left me wanting for more.

Feb 17, 201290Naughty Dog has become the de-facto Sony developer for a reason, and this showcases some of their best work. These games still hold up well today and highlight how this forgotten genre is still one of the best in gaming. If you own a PS3, this is yet another HD collection you simply have to own.

Feb 7, 201290For just a bit over $13 a game you're getting the best version of three PS2 classics, each packed with tight platforming, great characters, hilarious dialogue, and a huge range of gameplay styles. And with the HD and 3D upgrades, these games have never looked better.

Mar 21, 201290This is another collection not to be missed, not only for those who missed the adventures of one of the most successful duos of videogames, but also for those who want to rediscover this fantastic universe.

Feb 7, 201294The Jak and Daxter Collection is probably going to be one of the easiest releases for me to recommend to everyone this year; definitely a great addition to any PS3 library.
-
Mar 4, 201290It's a turn of the century time capsule that showcases the pinnacle of 3D platforming – a genre that's been rendered all but extinct by our modern obsession with shooters and sandbox titles. [March 2012, p77]

Mar 9, 201290This is an absolutely fantastic rerelease, and even though the games are marked by the passing of time, they are so versatile that they definitely deserve a revisit. If you have played these games before, you are in for a wonderfully nostalgic reunion, and if you haven't, now is the time to pick them up.
-
Mar 5, 201290Three of the most beloved platform/action games ever created on a single disc and with a budget price. You really owe it to yourself to buy this collection.

Feb 7, 201290It is a bit frustrating to not have the entire series added in, especially Lost Frontier from the PSP, but the set does not lose anything by just having the first three games. Aspects of the series also feel dated, but that is really the only bad thing you can say about this collection, which is a testament to the quality of the original games.
