    Addictive and fast-paced. [June 2013, p.77]

Jeremy McGrath's Offroad has raced into a genre saturated with more competent competitors, and it pulls up in last place as a result. While the game doesn't necessarily do anything offensive, it's still a subpar experience with a major identity crisis. If you're looking for an enjoyable offroad racer, there are much better options on the PS3. Don't waste your time with this cheaper sub-standard alternative.

2XL Games offers us a modest but entertaining offroad racing arcade. While sporting good ideas, such as vehicle development, it's quite evident those ideas are not polished enough. The technical aspect is also weak, but a good design and the variety of scenarios make up for it. The online multiplayer mode could be its redemption if it wasn't so hard to find other players.

Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is a competent racer, though with numerous issues and little replay value, you may want to look elsewhere for your offroad kicks.
  5. The game looks and plays well enough but isn't particularly engaging(unless you're a Jeremy McGrath fan). [Sept 2012, p.87]

Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is a competent racing game that fails to drum up and excitement and is completely overshadowed by retail releases like DiRT Showdown.

There's nothing fundamentally wrong with Jeremy McGrath's Offroad so much as there's no compelling reason to recommend it over other racing titles that have more depth, variety, and make for a more engrossing racing experience for the same asking price. Instead, it's a barebones package with a famous name in the title that nails the basics and nothing else.

Well, the environments don't look that bad… but if that's the only good thing you can say about a game, there's definitely something very wrong with this product. 2XL Games tried and failed. Next!

It's got a decent amount of content-five vehicle classes, six tracks, career, arcade and 8-player multiplayer modes-for a $10 digital download, and its addictive, arcade-y four-wheelin' is well worth buckling-up for.

Great little racer running at full hd resolution and 60 frames per second, I wish much bigger games would look as good as this one, solid campaign and multiplayer with voice chat. Full Review »
