I played this as part of the main game as I received this DLC as part of the Gamestop pre-order. It's tough to talk about cases specifically, as it's too easy to get in to spoilers with LA Noire, so I'll just say that it stood out as a very good and lengthy case. I really loved LA noire overall, and despite some criticisms I may have with the game I think it's easily one of the most unique and daring games released this generation. I you are wondering, as I was during my play though, if cases such as "The Naked City" will pop up as part of the main game (as opposed to only being able to be played under "cases") the answer is yes. Although the dlc cases will appear as soon as you've downloaded them on each desk where they belong, they will pop up as part of the main campaign in time. This case popped up as the third, I believe, once you get to the Vice desk. Expand

Despite the lack of gameplay variety, The Naked City is pretty lengthy, detailed, and well acted, so if you're itching for more L.A. Noire, pick this one up.
