  1. Merely a disappointing and lightweight FPS. [Christmas 2008, p.86]
  2. Just about everything about this title comes up short. Disappointedly short. All the makings of an interesting story and gameplay are here, but it’s as if the developers had a “it’s good enough” attitude.
  3. Absolutely terrible. It's simply broken. [Christmas 2008, p.92]
  4. Legendary could have been and should have been so much more; especially with it's awesome premise. Instead, we're stuck with a game that feels like it's more set-up for a sequel than as a standalone game.
  5. Constantly spawning enemies… Solid walls that light can leak through… A bad first-person shooter experience.
  6. All together, Legendary had a decent idea behind it that's been marred by some poor design decisions. Shooting and controls feel ok, but everything you shoot at, interact with, or run through is lackluster, broken, or just plain boring.
  7. Pandoras Box has truly been opened by Spark Unlimited. The graphics are sub-par, with immense slowdowns and juttering refresh rates. Also, the online community is nowhere to be found, rendering the multiplayer experience useless.
  8. All things told, the game reeks of derivation.
  9. Unreal III engine. Check. Monsters. Check. Guns. Check. Then why does it feel like a soggy chocolate biscuit?

By the time I'd defeated my 10th werewolf, I was already tired of needing to cut or shoot its head off so it didn't regenerate. By the time I defeated my 200th, I just wanted to turn the game off.

Unfortunately, the gameplay comes across as messy and incomplete, the arrangement of hazards and threats from monsters is ineffective at best and boring at worst. Plot points and development is practically nonexistent, and the standard shooter mechanics just fall flat.

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. Even when Legendary had some pretty bad reviews, I decided to give it a try since it was available for a cheap price. I must say that I was positively suprised by the game. It had some issues, like with the cutscenes lagging a bit at the beginning, but overally it was a decent game. It might have been a bit too difficult for these modern casual gamers with its small "puzzles" as there was no guides. In the warehouse with the first werewolves, I tried using boxes to get to the upper level and it didn't work. Got fustraded and shot a barrer which I then noticed to cause the platform go higher with the other getting down. That is what a game needs. Few puzzles that will make you mad and, after finishing, jump in joy. Anyway, Legendary might not be the best game out there, but definitely worth atleast one playthrough. Full Review »

A really poorly done game. The soundtrack is garbage, The storyline is terribly written, The framerate on the ps3 is horrible, The Gameplay is ok, but its just not that fun to play. Just look up a review by gamespot or IGN, and you'll know why this game sucks. Full Review »
