  • Summary: WWE Legends of WrestleMania embraces the leading sports entertainment organization's rich history to relive, rewrite or recreate the definitive elements of WWE from the Eighties and Nineties. Players relive the entertaining lives of more than 40 larger-than-life Legends and have control over Legendary Managers, each of whom play crucial roles in match outcomes. The game's new grapple-based fighting system captures the high-energy action and drama seen in vintage WWE matches, while a historically accurate representation of past WWE telecasts sets the stage, including dynamic visual treatments, signature ring entrances, renowned commentators and notable venues. WWE Legends of WrestleMania also includes a WrestleMania Tour Mode that allows players to participate in key matches from multiple WrestleMania events, a Create-A-Legend system to develop the Legends of tomorrow, as well as online functionality for players to compete on the biggest stages in WWE history. 1. Overall, Legends of WrestleMania is the best romp through the WWE I've had the pleasure of playing in years.
  2. As with the Xbox 360 version, the PS3 version of Legends of WrestleMania is a really entertaining game. Sure, it may not be the deepest game out there but the over-the-top graphics, solid sound, and the simple gameplay all manage to recreate some great WrestleManias of past.
  3. WWE Legends of WrestleMania is the perfect wrestling game for the guys in their late twenties, because it's totally focused on the old school wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant and on fifteen editions of WrestleMania, from 1985 to 1999. The core of the gameplay, very arcade and casual, is based on grapples made by quick time events, and way too easy and simplistic to perform very long combos and attacks.
  4. Unfortunately, the simplicity went a notch too far, and instead of a fun, arcade-like romp through memories of wrestling yesteryear, we're left with a wrestling game that has the best roster in 10 years, but some of the least challenging and least fun gameplay.

I liked all the trophies, legends and and game modes and all but the cheat codes and they only gave you 4 managers to choose from!

Ok this game wasn't great @ all, however the content of videos and old theme music were really cool and makes this game a worthy (DISCOUNTED) purchase 4 all throwback wrestling fans in their mid 2 late 20's like me and all those that are older & still play video games. The ability 2 import all of the wrestlers from SvR 2010 and even my created wrestlers was pretty sweet but I wish it also included the downloaded wrestlers that I paid an extra $10 for on PSN, now that would've been really cool. Unfortunately the fighting mechanic was entirely 2 simplistic but thank God it wasn't as awful as tna impacts controls (ugh). I honestly didn't play the game online due 2 the fact that SvR 2010's online lagging discouraged me & once I easily obtained every bit of content and every trophy I just didn't care 2 play it any further. The presentation of the Retro theme was awesome but the overall gameplay was a friggin mess, and hopefully if there's another LOW it'll be significantly better. Expand

This game would have been much better if it had the same controls as SvR 2009. THe new controls are too simplistic and feels like a single Fusion Frenzy mini-game rather than a full retail game. Roster is nice, and the ability to import is a nice addition, but meaningless due to repetitive gameplay and over-simplistic settings. Expand
