  • Summary: From the Trade Federation's "negotiations" with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn in The Phantom Menace to the space battle above Endor in Return of the Jedi, The Complete Saga allows players to kick some brick through 36 Story Mode levels, including Episode II's newly added high-speed pursuit of bounty hunter Zam Wessell. Traveller’s Tales has revamped levels from the original LEGO Star Wars to match the gameplay evolutions found in LEGO Star Wars II, and Prequel Trilogy characters can now be mixed and matched with those from the Original Trilogy – more than 160 in all. With both of the previous games and bonus content, it's a great value and it'll provide hours of entertainment. LSW veterans, however, might not want to dive in so soon, however, as you've played most of this game already.
  2. Very few Star Wars games are this good.

When all is said and done LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Sage is a fantastic game that deserves to be played by everyone. It is easily accessible, truly addictive, and loaded with tons of content to warrant the $50 price tag.
  4. As two previous games prove and hundreds of fans can attest, LEGO and Star Wars go together like peanut butter and jelly. [Holiday 2007, p.79]
  5. It's fantastic fun for two players (great for the whole family, too), those 36 chapters provide a huge amount of gameplay time, the levels are diverse, it can be very funny, and the entire production will make you grin. It's hardly a supremely polished blockbuster, but it's worth playing, especially for Star Wars fans.
  6. Even if the new bells and whistles aren't enough to bring back established fans, this is still Lego Star Wars at its finest.
  7. What extras there are improve, rather than ruin, the experience. [Christmas 2007, p.112]

I have never played the previous versions of this game so i can honestly tell you that this game is very fun despite those critics who expected alot of extras in the ps3 version. The level design is fun, the characters are lovable and graphics are fantastic. How good can graphics get when u have blocky lego characters? Just look at the scenery. It looks great in HD especially the area with the shiny marble floors. This is a thinking persons game rather than one who needs cat-like reflexes to beat the enemies. With virtually no defense, you will die plenty of times but you wont throw your controller in disgust because you respawn right where you left off. The storyline is great. It basically follows the storyline of the movie. I highly recommend this game to anyone who has never played it before whether a starwars fan or not. Great gameplay is universal. Expand

A first rate game. the depth and amount of content are amazing. more fun and finely tuned gameplay than knock your socks off graphics but it still looks very good in HD. for anyone who is a fan of the star wars series and hasn't played the previous versions, this game must go to the top of their 'games to buy' list. if you don't like star wars then you may want to consider another game first but you would still be entertained by this. easily the best CO-OP game i've played in recent memory. True the game has a few camera issues, but it does a great job of capturing the fun of Star Wars, lets you play as all your favorite characters, and has plenty of replay value as you try to get all the bonuses. The main point here: its a game and it is FUN!!! Expand

More of the same, but in this case it's not a bad thing. I owned both on PS2, sold them and got this for the PS3. Love the improved graphics and integration of both games into one, the redesigned levels are better (I hated pod Race in the original). It's just a fun game. Expand

It's a little bit repetitive, but then again it's really enjoyable to play. Lot's of humour, especially from the cut scenes, which even made me want to watch episodes 1-3 again. Only for a short while, though. Playing with a mate = great fun. Playing alone = quickly bored. Expand

A fun game although not worth the $50 if you already have the two previous titles.

Quite possibly the worst game i have ever played. The camera views are horrible (not allowing you to see what is shooting at you). The additional characters that are supposed to be helping you get in the way as you are trying to maneuver througout the game and just stand and watch as you have to do everything. Granted I have only played through the first three or four stages, but I do not see myself playing through the rest. Expand
