Previous versions were too buggy to be worth checking out unless you couldn't live without baseball on your home console; this time, they got it right, with an entry in The Show series that reminds you of just how impressive it can be.
MLB: The Show 16 is one of the best baseball games I have ever played. Granted, I haven’t played many in my life, but this one really does have some great things going for it.

I love feeling you in game haptic feedback control and graphic amazing and I recommend pick one up in store

love this game! its fun to play in all sorts of modes, and its fun to simulate, its even fun to just lay down and watch a game in bed... I wish though they would add every teams old stadiums as well, would be cool to play at torontos exhibition stadium, or a place like candle stick stadium..

San Diego Studio continues to show love for baseball with MLB 16 The Show, taking its historic limelight and bringing to it a multitude of new options, features, and enhancements. Every annual release should be better than the last year, but MLB 16 The Show expands on all fronts with dividends and adds even more reasons to crack the bat.
MLB The Show 16 is a letter of love for all baseball fans and fore those who likes sports games. Outstanding visuals, great game modes and accurate controls, makes this game a great experience.
The Show 16 remains a reference among classic sports simulations. More attractive, richer, more immersive, this game is offering many ways to play the league.
MLB The Show 16 continues to find innovative ways to push the series forward by adding new features and improving on old ones. Some new problems have arisen, however, and old ones—most notably the horrendous stability of online play—continue to persist and hold the series back.
Big on feature, major in community activity, and strong in replay ability, this year’s Show certainly has done well. For Sony, like EA’s Madden series, there are few to no challengers to the genre so success lies within their own hands. So the question is, if it ain’t broke, will they still try to fix it, or if it is broke, do they still care to fix it?
Excellent game from SDS. Definitely worth the purchase. In spite of what other reviewers have written the servers are working fine after some minor problems at release (which SDS comped players with free stubs and packs). I was very happy to upgrade from MLB 15 to 16. Lots of new features and animations. Plus Sounds of the Show is on PS4 so you can create playlists of your own mp3s in game!

Great baseball game. The story mode is a little bit lacking, with almost no reaction to anything other than playing the matches, but the gameplay is solid.

Heres a REAL review that was not paid for by sony, mlb 16 the show is still graphically the same game it was the last 2 seasons on ps4. The commentary is recycled the player models still looked ripped from the ps3 and the jerseys still have no cloth physics.
I give it a 5 out of 10.

I truly think any review higher then maybe a 7 for this game is a paid review. 10/10 is an utter joke with so many bugs in a game like this so do not trust any of those. Now for the game break down, there are plenty of good mixed with a ton of bad in this game so I will list the pros and cons of the game and let you judge.
Pros:
-Battle Royale- Its a fun unique way for balanced pvp I liked this idea a lot with good rewards for long win streaks.
-Conquest- Another good new addition to diamond dynasty.
Most of the rest of the game little to nothing has changed. (so 2 new features garnering it a 10/10 score is utter BS).
Cons-
-Bugs-O-Plenty- If its your CF not even raising his arm to catch a fly ball, then its you throwing home and your catcher not even tagging the guy out.
-Baserunning- Not sure how but i feel like your players are even dumber at baserunning in this game then the last. Prime example is I hit a single with a man on first and second but the CPU for some reason had both first and second players dive back to bags on a **** the time they could recover it turned into a double play instead of a single. You hit a double and sometimes the man on 2nd wont start to run even to 3rd and has to be done manually most of the time.
-Cheaters- I'm not sure if they are actually cheating or throttling their connection somehow to do this but i have recorded and reported between 5-10 players that have cheated while playing pvp. Some examples of this are people not even throwing strikes to you but the umpire calling them strikes. (they will be like 2 feet off the plate of even hit you but the umpire will call them strikes). Smashing homeruns but suddenly it lag and then be called an out (this will happen with normal hits as well). You having a player on second base and they just throw to second and he's out(Although the player is clearly standing on the bag).

Once again this game has great graphics and solid gameplay, however it's all brought down by how many bugs there are. Given that they release one of these every single year with some minor adjustments, I find it unacceptable that it has so many bugs and glitches. Avoid this one and buy an older one.
