An interesting thinking man’s shoot ’em up. Too bad the enemies blend to backgrounds a little bit too well on some levels. The timelimits are mostly unnecessary. [Sept 2007]
A curious game that will seem a little uncomfortable to some factions of both the shmup fanboys and casual players. Still, it is a great piece of software that manages to offer plenty of variation through well-designed level objectives, and at a price you can afford with pocket change.
Overly difficult gameplay for an arcade game. A solid title that the majority of people will simply find too hard. Anyone looking for a real challenge will find it more than enough.
If you're used to the sensibilities of modern gaming, I can imagine this being a massive let-down thanks to its unforgiving nature and lacklustre audio-visuals. See past the limitations and embrace the challenge and you may well enjoy what's on offer here.
