Payday 2 is a Co Op game. While it might have benefitted with a cool story arc for a single player mode the game offers a great outing with 3 other friends for an experience that will keep having you come back for more. Payday is simply put the improved, polished and closest experience you’ll find to robbing an actual bank. It’s just legal.
Payday 2 is currently the best co-op experience of the year and a great sequel too. However, if you plan to play it just offline, you'll be disappointed.

It's the only game where i can burst into a warehouse, with a minigun in my hand and a flamethrower in other, being fully covered in kevlar to rob 6 nuclear warheads while driving a sports car

Payday 2 is a great Coop-Shooter with many well designed Missions and a unique setting. The only flaw is the Team-AI – what is not a huge shortcoming for a coop-based game.
The bottom line is that I’m complaining because the action, the gunplay, the visuals, the demanding teamwork, the ultimate sense of gratification from leveling up and mastering the levels are all pretty much unparalleled, even if they could have been situated into a better gameplay structure. Payday 2 is a wonderful shooter that stands alone in a genre full of me-toos, wanna-bes, and coulda-beens.
Payday 2 is a very attractive offer for fans of the FPS genre and it's ideal for those who like frantic multiplayer games. We are facing a powerful title with big potential that will keep you glued to your monitor or TV for hours. The only thing to fear is the threat of an excessive repetition of its elements, which should be solved by distributing new types of heists and armament in sufficient frequency. If they do so, it could become one of the most played alternatives over the network.
Overkill Software have nearly perfected this wonderful recipe and they are definitely on track to creating something exceptional.
The disappointing Payday 2 is a sequel in the loosest sense of the word, with minor and unsuccessful updates to the gameplay, hindered with uninspired scenarios and terrible AI.
Gameplay: Do you want to shoot hundreds of cops that don't do any damage at all? Then this is THE game. There are several types of missions including stealth (never figured how it works). The missions take too long, gets very repetetive. Guns and everything is great, just not the type of game for me. Still would recommend if you have friends to play with. 5/7,5
Visuals: Didn't really impressed me, could be more detailed. 1,5/2,5
