  1. I wouldn't say I plan to play this game a lot after my first and in-depth gaming session, but it's one I'll keep in mind when I have some free time and feel like diving into some puzzling action.
  2. A puzzler that's subtly rather than brashly innovative, and which has a wicked-looking chicken on the front.
  3. It's cute, it's clever and it can be replayed a million times. Not fair that Europeans have to pay twice as much for this game as the Americans!
  4. Piyotama is a good little puzzle game that's available at the right price.

Great fun. It's simple and yet complex at the same time, allowing players to jump in quickly and have some fun while also providing plenty of depth for anyone who wants to really dig in and master the game.

Piyotama does its best to put a clever and unique spin on a tired format, but its tendency to reward shameless chancing considerably dents its appeal. [Issue#162, p.93]
  7. Once you've got the hang of it, it's gently addictive in the same way as eating a massive bag of jelly babies. [Feb 2008, p.98]
  8. Laced with enough ingenuity to be worth downloading. [Jan 2008, p.79]
  9. Piyotama is slickly produced, hugely addictive, and the perfect alternative to Warhawk.
  10. Piyotama is a terrific value. At $3, it's just the kind of simple impulse buy the PSN needs, and hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Give it a shot, because honestly, who can't spare three bucks?

Disgustingly cute with relatively deep gameplay is the quickest way to describe this amazingly valued, at $2.99, PS3 download. Its more similar to Puyo Pop or Super Puzzle Fighter than Tetris, with a challenging new combo mechanism. Piyotama is a fantastic value and a fun game to boot. The cute factor is out of control which can be good or bad depending on your taste. Full Review »

Simple game to learn and fun for a short time. It's a game that you play every now and then.

Its a weak atempt (and failure) at an inovative tetris/connect 4 knock off, though possibly worth the extreamly low and reasonable cost of the game.
