  1. Really fun. [Christmas 2010]
  2. With support for up to six players in multiplayer, the game is great for social gamers, yet with plenty of courses, character items, equipment and some challenging trophies to collect it is also great for completionists out there.

With all its trimmings Planet Minigolf is one of the best games of its kind on the market.
  4. Aside from some of the small issues that require some practice, memorization and a slightly problematic control system, I give a thumb up to Planet Minigolf.
  5. This challenging minigolf game boasts well over 100 different holes as well as tools to create and share your own.
  6. 75
Planet Minigolf is a decent minigolf game that, once you have mastered the controls and learned the perfect way to play each hole, is fun to play. For me it is also the most frustrating minigolf game I have ever played.
  7. If you can appreciate miniature golf, though, you can (and will) have a lot of fun with this inexpensive gem.
  8. While it's not the top mini-golf game out there, it's still an enjoyable $15 investment.

Planet Minigolf unfortunately stumbles with its controls and presentation.
  10. Impressive multiplayer functionality and social tools contrast with frequent loading screens and clunky main menus.
  11. Lots of content, competitive multiplayer, and great course creation tools give this title a lot of value.

It's just a shame that it suffers from a general lack of polish and some really questionable controls. [Issue#196, p.97]
  13. It's a fun mini golf game with potential for great user-created content. However, rough camera controls and no practice mode for specific holes work against it. Planet Minigolf is worth your attention if you can overlook some shortcomings.
  14. Planet Minigolf offers flashes of brilliance, but these are far outweighed by the amateur development decisions and a general lack of respect for the gamer.
  15. Planet Minigolf, at least in its current form, is a huge failure and epic disappointment for me. I've been counting the days till its release since it was first announced, and now I am counting the days until it is patched so I can actually play it.
  16. My only hesitation is that you can get better for the same price, which makes anything a tough sell.
  17. It brings more than its fair share of content to the table but fails to ever truly distinguish itself as more than an average mini golf title.

What makes this game is the course editor. Due to user created holes and courses the game now has over 63,000 holes. The game is blast to play with friends. Go to local multiplay, choose how many players and set it for a random course. I have been playing this game daily with a friend for months. I am not the slightest bit bored of it yet. Every PS3 owner should get a copy of this game. I am amazed this game didn't sell heavily. I think some of the reviews I have read have been a bit overcritical. Especially about the controls. You have three control options for taking a shot Easy, 3-Click, and Direct. One of the three will suit your preference. The game is not perfect but it is by far the best minigolf game ever released.

There is also supposed to be a new version coming out.
